How to reset Launchpad on your Mac

On Launchpad on macOS Big Sur, you have access to all of your Mac apps, regardless of where they are installed on your computer.   1. Go to the Finder on your Mac.
  2. Hold down the Option key and click on the Go menu.
  3. Select Library.
  4. Open the Application Support folder.
  5. Click on the Dock folder.
  6. Delete all the files ending in “.db.”
  7. Empty the Trash on your Mac.
  8. Restart your Mac.
